I am 29, a Conservation Educator, and the Founder-Director of Salem Ornithological Foundation. I discontinued after two years of studying Engineering and decided to pursue my interest in Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology. I am a bird watcher since 2008 and a bird educator since 2013. I love to introduce birding to new people, especially young children & I do it through bird walks, outreach, and education programs across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. My favorite habitats are wetlands followed by forests and I love pelagics to the core! During my leisure hours, I love studying historical ornithological literature very much! I have a special liking for clicking birds using binoculars and a mobile phone.

I am a State-level Resource Person in the Tamil Nadu Science Forum too. I also worked as a Project Assistant (Early Bird) at the Nature Conservation Foundation. I was also a former volunteer at the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau and a former Zoo Educator at the Chennai Snake Park Trust.
